Abstract

The Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) is an illness at which there is a partial airflow limitation in air-ways. Thus irreversible changes are observed, COPD constitutes life-threatening situation. Over time, COPD becomes, as a rule, heavier. It is impossible to stop the once started process of severe lung injury. But it is possible to take measures for slow the process of destruction of alveoluses in lungs, as well as to improve status of patient suffering from COPD. Research objective is studying of incidence dynamics and features of clinical findings and COPD course for the period of 2011-2013 according to the data of pulmonology department of Yakutsk (Sakha Republic) State Clinical Hospital. As a result of research the dynamics of COPD incidence for 3 years is revealed, the comparative analysis of patients on various signs was carried out. Instrumental and functional research methods are analysed. Research of clinical findings and the anamnestic data, as well as the presence of the comorbidities and previous diseases is conducted. For studying of circumstances of lethality the analysis of clinical records with a lethal outcome is carried out. The clinical analysis of COPD course pulmonology department of Yakutsk (Sakha Republic) State Clinical Hospital provides objective data for presentation of the present situation on this nosology in the Far North conditions. Conclusions on this research can serve for improvement of quality of delivery of care for COPD patients.
