ELECTRONIC GOVERNANCE: PUBLIC SERVICE STRATEGY FOR REGIONAL GOVERNMENT OF GORONTALO REGENCY

E-Government is an information technology system that is utilized by the Government to improve public services by providing options for the public to get easy access to public information. This study aims to address electronic governance from the aspect of public service strategy of the Gorontalo Regency Government. This research uses descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The informants were from the Gorontalo regional government secretariat and the Gorontalo Department of Communication and Information. The results showed that the government continued to provide technical guidance to officials operating the system by inviting resource persons who were experts in their fields. To implement Electronic Government not only requires support from all elements but also requires supporting capacities. The continuation of the application of the concept of Electronic Government or SPBE continues and the government has made efforts to create an Information System application which contains all village information that can be accessed by anyone, anywhere. The Electronic Government has many positive implications that are felt by both the government as a service provider and the one that manages E-Gov but also by the public
