MEASURING THE DYNAMICS OF FERTILITY TRANSITION IN PAKISTAN AN EMPIRICAL INVESTIGATION

The primary objective of this research paper is to measure the association among TFR, FE, LE and PCI with reference to Pakistan. Along with theoretical discussion an empirical technique is applied to quantify the required objectives. This paper uses time series data from various national and international resources such as SBP, PBS and WB time span from 1971 to 2010. JCA and ECA method is used to measure the causality among said variables. Findings of the paper identify that there exist a longrun and short-run dynamics among selected variables
