Mobile learning (M-learning) has become one of the essential components of educational technology in higher education. As a result, with the advent of modern technology, the use of M-learning has become more widespread as it is seen as helping teachers in providing information to students. This study aims to create an interactive digital tool in the teaching and learning process as a teaching and learning platform for welding technology subjects, and to test application functionality based on student interest, motivation and understanding. Designing product creation is based on the Richey & Klein study. The ADDIE model is used by researchers because it is more than instructional technology in the production of educational produ ts. This application was built using Adobe Illustrator, Movie Maker and Articulate Storyline software. The study population involved 111 students in Welding Technology at KV Batu Pahat, Johor, while the purposive sampling method was used to represent a sample of 30 students from 1st year in welding. To obtain information, questionnaire forms were used as instruments in this study. Testing and assessment is carried out by the welding and multimedia experts. The results were analyzed to obtain the reliability of the instrument at a high level of ɑ = 0.918 and the mean value of the interest aspect was high (M = 3.76: S.D = 0.42), high motivation (M = 3.70: S.D = 0.46) and understanding were simple (m = 3.60: S.D = 0.48). The results show that using multimedia to build teaching resources using the Android platform will increase the interest,encouragement and comprehension of the students.
