Biographical study in postgraduate pedagogical education

Abstract

The article is devoted to the actual problem of the dissemination of biographical knowledge in the Ukrainian society. The use of biographical science as an important scientific discipline for the formation of research and biographical competence of teachers, the implementation of biographical learning of teachers, the influence of the latter on the formation of a conscious and responsible attitude of applicants to their own biography and implementation of individual biographical projects based on reflexive analysis of personal biographical experience and life stories of people included in modern educational content. The system of scientific and methodological work of postgraduate pedagogical education institutes in the field of biographical science and biographical learning of teachers is revealed, the tasks of developing "pedagogical biographical study" are defined. It covers the experience of the M. V. Ostrogradsky Poltava Regional Institute of In-Service Education on the representation of biographies of employees of the system of postgraduate pedagogical education and the implementation of biographical learning for teachers in innovative projects "Formation of leadership competency in school by means of biographical research in the context of educational regional studies" and the conclusion of the regional encyclopedia "Poltavika". The conclusion is made about the importance of biographical research and methodological developments on the compilation of encyclopedic biographical articles, biographical reference books and bio-bibliographic indexes for the introduction of biographical learning in the educational process of institutions of general secondary education on the basis of integrative understanding of biographies of biographical experience.
