Guidelines for Scientific Search for Optimization of Library Activity in the Age of Informatization

The article deals with the issues of informatization development in the Ukrainian national information space, including the issues of national and global information creation, which creates rapidly growing volumes of new, primarily electronic information resources. The solution to the problem of managing these resources is carried out now, basically, by creating appropriate software, search engines. However, the effective use of information resources for modern social activities, including the harmonious combination of ones elaborated by past generations and new ones, the need to achieve content accuracy of information products of development, ensuring interdisciplinary proportionality in the development of new theoretical material necessitate the improvement of the process of information content management. From the author's point of view, this problem should be solved with the obligatory involvement of the library component. Researchers of information processes with the participation of the modern libraries, based on the whole experience of cooperation with mass readers, users, and on the study of modern public needs for information services, should facilitate the development of effective information technologies for the analysis of modern information arrays, the development of effective methods of selection necessary for national development of information, structuring and preserving them, preparing them for effective use in providing thematical accuracy, relevance, predictive calculations and others. In the context of the topic consideration, it also refers to the improvement of management activities in the infosphere related to the need for cooperation in the library sphere caused by electronic information, improvement of stratcoms activities.
