FEATURES OF BIOLOGY AND ECOLOGY, GROWTH AND DEVELOPMENT OF COUSINIA SPECIES IN VARIOUS ECOLOGICAL CONDITIONS OF UZBEKISTAN

The article presents the features of biology and ecology, the growth and development of various types of Cousinia in various environmental conditions of Uzbekistan. The distribution area covers mainly foothill and semi-desert and desert zones of Uzbekistan. Cousinia species are found in deserts, low mountains, sometimes to the middle zone of mountains. In Uzbekistan, this plant is considered one of the best fodder plants; it is procured as a bait andreserve of feed.
