The aim is simple: to distribute water as close as possible to the root zone of the plant, in small quantity, slowly but frequently, so that the process stays under high control. The research aims to investigate the limitation and advantages of different irrigation systems to identify the appropriate water saving system. A properly adapted design followed by a regular management and careful operation practices lead to high water saving, improvement in crop quality, increase in yield, reduction in agronomical costs. In recent day's technologies plays a vital role in enhancing the practical applicability of actual irrigation water management under uncertainty conditions in arid areas. The automated irrigation system uses sensors to identify the necessity of water for soil. The study signifies the importance of solar photovoltaic power generation in terms of power generation as a supporting agent for automation and IoT systems.
