SPORTS DISCOURSE IN THE SYSTEM OF INSTITUTIONAL TYPES OF DISCOURSE

The paper diagrammatically shows the interrelation of sports discourse conceptual structure against the conceptual structures of other discourse types. The research aim is to demonstrate the specificity of different discourse types in the light of linguocognitive approach. This approach involves the study of language program in the communication activity of the discourse participants. To realize the goal of the research, sport, legal, medical and military types of discourse were chosen as the research subject. Discourse mapping makes it possible to present in a visual form the synthesis of conceptual analysis and comparative method. Professional communication can be determined as a social activity coefficient fixation which predetermines the concept choice. The modern linguistics objective is the search for institutional discourse investigation methods that will enable the researchers to consider not only specific messages, but also to study the discourse structures in particular, and also make it possible to conduct detailed social, cognitive, cultural study of sports communication. Sports discourse conceptual dominant attribution is one of the most difficult tasks. Symbolic representations of sports experience can serve as the base for sports discourse concepts. These concepts can be interpreted in different semantic systems. In addition, these concepts should contain a core, that is, a set of ordered phenomena expressed through language tools that create the effect of discourse openness. Consequently, in order to characterize any institutional discourse type, it is necessary to define the structure and significance of its core concepts. The research shows that the discursive mechanisms are actualized in the inner form of the communication participant's statements and reflect the specific features of professional consciousness. Summing up, it should be said that sports communication assumes a deliberate choice of concepts, which are closely connected to the conceptual systems of other discourses
