Abstract

The article examines the dramatic texts of Velimir Khlebnikov, as well as other texts of the writer, which by their nature gravitate toward dramaturgical texts. The author notes that the innovative, experimental character of Khlebnikov's dramaturgy is evident even at the first approximation. Throughout the entire creative career, the writer created about thirty dramatic texts or texts that gravitate toward dramaturgic texts, from the first play “Devi-God” (1904) to his last works - “the super-story” Zangazi and the play The Spring of Consumption (1922). And they all differ sharply from traditional genre-style forms, which allows to interpret Khlebnikov's dramaturgy as a unique phenomenon in Russian and world drama. The genre repertoire of Khlebnikov's dramaturgy includes a play-joke, a parody play, a Christmas fairy tale, a dramatic poem, monodrama, miracles (mystery), “superfood” and other original author genres. During the analysis of various dramatic forms, the author comes to the conclusion that the unity of Khlebnikov's dramaturgy and the artistic world as a whole became possible thanks to the “metabiosis” of various styles and genres
