PROSPECTS OF INNOVATIVE DEVELOPMENT OF TRANSPORT INFRASTRUCTURE

The article is devoted to illuminating the perspectives of innovative development of transport infrastructure. The dynamics of development of the transport infrastructure of Ukraine in the global rating in the context of transport categories is analyzed. Currently, only by the parameter of the transport infrastructure of Ukraine of «the roads' quality» shows positive dynamics. As for other modes of transport, they all lost their positions compared to the previous period. The list of major infrastructure projects implemented by the Ministry of infrastructure of Ukraine is investigated and analyzed. The programmatic foundations of innovative development of transport infrastructure of Ukraine have been covered and systematized. Based on the main global trends and globalization processes, four main directions of innovative development for the transport infrastructure of Ukraine are distinguished: clustering, integration, digitization and greening. The innovation direction of «clustering» implies the development of cluster initiatives and centers of innovation. The innovative direction of «integration» envisages providing of complex innovative development of transport and transport infrastructure of Ukraine taking into account the international standards of quality of transportations and safety on transport. The innovative direction of «digitization» envisages the introduction of electronic document management and electronic control systems, integrated information systems. The innovative direction of «greening» involves the development of electricity, the use of alternative fuels, the improvement of energy efficiency and the reduction of man-made load on the environment. It is concluded that the prospects for innovative development of transport infrastructure are formed on the basis of the realization that large-scale introduction of innovations in all directions of the transport system is a prerequisite for the formation of efficient and sustainable infrastructure.
