Improvement of Information and Legal Services for Library Users in the System of Strategic Communications

The article deals with the peculiarities of the process of development of informational and legal services in the activity of library as a modern social and communication center. The study has established that the role of the modern library in the process of legal informing is resulted from the development of informatization and current tasks of democratic processes in Ukraine.Library makes an important contribution to the development of society, which is stimulated by the transformational processes of post-industrial development by crea- ting an information environment of legal support, using a systematic set of information-analytical means of presenting information resources. Establishment of social partnership, which is characterized by multilevel, openness, accessibility and large-scale is very important in the process of expanding library internal and external information and communication links.The provision of information and legal services in the activities of Ukrainian libra- ries, taking into account the transformation of social and technological conditions, a combination of traditional library functions with the functions of industry information centers is promising way to develop modern library.The integration activity of library as such an information centers will improve the quality of customer service in the mode of remote access, provided the active use of electronic technologies to perform their functions in the process of organizing access to structured legal information. The practice of information and legal services library may offer to users is described. The role of libraries interaction for debugging and improving the efficiency of users information and legal services is substantiated.Prospects for the development of information and legal services in libraries activities have been determined in the conditions of increasing demand for legal information in the process of development of social information communications system and a strong need to solve the socially important problem in the efficient use of information resources.
