Abstract
The article considers the issue of improving the ecological condition of the urban environment by reducing the level of noise and gassiness of urban areas. The types of shielding structures for the placement of landscaping elements and their impact on noise and gassiness in the surrounding areas (based on the parks of Kyiv) are analysed.
