Abstract
The study of the final quality of the pieces made by injection molding, has been growing gradually in recent years, mainly due to the use of plastic components in different sectors of the industry; so much higher levels of quality are increasingly required. In order to meet these quality requirements, we have resorted to the use of computational tools, which have allowed the reduction in machine preparation times, the process and greater control in production. One of the most important areas is the design of methodologies that allow the implementation of simulation processes before manufacturing, which increases the quality of the molded parts.
