Abstract

TraditionalHealthServices(Yankestrad)isadevelopmentprogramthatisapri-ority of the Indonesian government, and its existence is of sufβicient interest tothe public so that it needs to be developed to improve public health. Yankestradcan be combined with conventional health services to be implemented in anintegrated manner in hospitals and in health centers. The purpose of this studywas to evaluate the Yankestrad program in Denpasar Bali and develop strate-gies for the development of the Yankestrad Integration program at communityhealth centers (Puskesmas) in Denpasar Bali. The method used in this researchis descriptive qualitative using SWOT analysis. The results showed that theimplementation of the Yankestrad Integration program in Denpasar City wascategorized as sufβicient. The dominant internal factor being the strength isthat the vision and mission of the Yankestrad program has been stated in thestrategic plan and trained and certiβied health workers, while the weakness isthat the ofβicers hold multiple programs so that they do not focus on providingservices. The external factor, the biggest opportunity is community empower-ment through independent care groups with the use of family medicinal plants(TOGA), and the biggest threat is that the community still tends to curativerather than preventive efforts and the community still sees Yankestrad as mag-ical / mystical. Yankestrad Integration development strategy can be carried outby supporting an aggressive growth policy or a Streng Opportunity strategy, namely by taking advantage of opportunities to use their strengths for the sus-tainability of the program.
