Abstract

The reservation system is found in India way before its independence. The reservation started for SCs and STs constitutionally after the Independence. Next, the OBC and EWS categories are preserved by this system. The capitalist society has created the indiscrimination for their own interest in society besides reserving thus in discrimination from society. There is no doubt that the reserved caste has gained the facility of reservation by this reservation Policy. Various sub-castes are found in West Bengal among the schedules caste. Although there is no constitutional differences seen social, educational as well as in their economical customs. The common research shows that the person of schedule caste who belongs to upper class level cannot be avoided by the creamy layer system. But there is need for different reservation for those sub caste people who belongs to lower category among the SCs.
