Review and Analysis of Different Approaches to Semantic Level Question Answering and Information Retrieval

Question Answering and Information Retrieval plays an important application of Natural Language Processing and Data Mining. It aims to retrieve relevant documents for natural language queries. Here we performed a survey on different models for Information Retrieval and Question Answering. And also performed the comparison and analysis of various models. From the literature, we identified that information retrieval systems use the methods from Data Analytics, Natural Language Processing, Machine Learning, and Neural Network etc. Also, we noticed there are many works are done in the English language, but a few works are done in native languages such as Malayalam, Kannada, and Tamil etc.
