High Dose Vitamin A Cures Severe Acne Vulgaris

Abstract
In this single patient clinical trial of high dose Vitamin A in a 14 year old patient with severe acne vulgaris, it was found that a four month course of 200, 000 IU Vitamin A, equivalent to 60 mg/day, completely eradicated the condition, was safe and cost effective, and resulted in no relapse at 6 month post-treatment follow-up.
