Abstract
The article deals with the problems of terminological nomination and definition in special legal discourse. The purpose of the article is to make linguistic reconstruction of the legal term persecution. The author analyses the etymology, semantics and thesaurus network of the legal term persecution in English to prove its terminological nature.
