RESULTS Out of the 200 women who underwent PPIUCD insertion, 41.5 % were post placental, 20.5 % immediate postpartum and 38 % intracaesarian. The gross cumulative expulsion, removal and continuation rates were 5 %, 6 % and 78.5 % respectively. There were no major complications noted.
