Result The overall mean pre-test knowledge score was 13.34 (SD-2.379) and Post-test knowledge score was 22.66 (SD-2.430). Calculated pairedt value was 25.762 (df - 99) which is greater than tabulated t value (1.982). This indicates that gain in knowledge is statistically significant at p less than 0.05 level, also this result revealed significant association between knowledge of mother and selected socio-demographic variables including age of child, Mothers Education and occupation and ways of health information.
