Abstract

The present study aimed at investigating the Teaching Competency of prospective teacher. The sample consists of 500 B. Ed students from Kottayam district, Kerala. A standardized tool was used by the investigator. The results revealed that the prospective teacher students have average level of Teaching Competency. There was no significance difference in the Teaching Competency of prospective teachers with respect to their gender, locality, Type of institution, Educational qualification and their Type of family.
