Abstract
Human periodontal ligament (PDL) is a promising source of mesenchymal stem cells (MSC), as these cells could serve as a therapeutic tool for various pathological conditions. For this purpose methods for PDL stem cells isolation, cultivation and guided differentiation have to be broadly promoted and utilized.
