Genetic Optimization: A Survey

Genetic optimization for problems like classification, recognition, registration etc. related to different fields like military, astrophysics, medical science etc. is an emerging field. The same concept of genetic algorithm can be applied using different fitness function which will fit the given data model. Calculation of cost for each population completely depends upon the fitness function and it will change the way of learning and optimization of the problem. In this paper, we have gone through different types of methods those are implemented using Genetic Algorithm with various fitness function used for selecting the chromosome.
