Abstract
The application of Microbial Fuel Cell (MFC) for electricity generation and waste water treatment has been developing recently. In recent years, researchers have shown that MFCs can be used to produce electricity from water containing glucose, acetate or lactate. This research explores the application of MFC in generating electricity using waste water from Parle Biscuit factory Jabalpur. In order to obtain the aim of this research, a system of MFC with microbe Pseudomonas has been used. As parameter, it was evaluated the power density produced during MFC operation on variation of microbe concentration.
