A Review of Diverse Pitch&Detection Methods

Pitch is that auditory attribute of sound according to which sounds can be ordered on a scale from low to high. Some of the factors are influencing the fundamental frequency are such as body size, laryngeal size, vocal fold length. In this paper we are discussing about the pitch detection algorithms designed to estimate the pitch or fundamental frequency of a periodic signals such as time domain, frequency domain and hybrid domain.
