APPLICATION OF THE myPKFiT PROGRAM FOR AN INDIVIDUALIZED APPROACH TO PREVENTIVE TREATMENT WITH COAGULATION FACTOR VIII IN CHILDREN WITH HEMOPHILIA A OF THE CHELYABINSK REGION

The software (SW) myPKFiT* on the basis of web application has been developed for the patients receiving octocog alfa treatment. Based on the assessment of F VIII activity in 2 blood samples, SW allows to create patient's individual PK curve, assess PK parameters and simulate variable dosage regimens depending on patient's clinical status, lifestyle and level of physical activity. The SW demonstrates to the patient F VIII activity for various doses and dosing intervals, as well as the risks that arise when the product administration is missed. Therefore, myPKFiT solves an important task of the individualized approach to selection and correction of therapy, improves the collaboration and mutual understanding between the physician and the patient, up regulates of the patient adherence to the therapy and achieves optimal results.
