Caracterización y Diagnóstico de la Cadena Productiva de la Piña en el Departamento del Casanare

The characterization and diagnosis of the productive chain of the pineapple in the Casanare is part of the first phase of the investigation “Configuring and characterization of the value network and identification of management indicators for the cluster of pineapple in Casanare “conducted by the UNAD, in partnership with the Chamber of Commerce of Casanare gover-nance and other institutions within the competitive strategy for strengthening the cluster of pineapple in the department of Casanare.In this exploratory research, descriptive and explanatory type, and the 6 municipalities of greater production department were identified, they visited and interviewed different actors who are part of the pineapple ́s production chain; from suppliers to the consumer or end user. Based on this research on the actors involved in the pineapple ́s production chain, information related to pineapple production, procurement of agricultural inputs and the product distribution was obtained.On the other hand, and applying a benchmarking tool, the level of competitiveness is mea-sured in integration among actors in the pineapple ́s production chain, as well as their compe-titiveness in logistics.
