Abstract

Professional formation of a person is a process of development, in which it is possible to identify certain stages. Often the transition from one stage to another is accompanied by crises of professional formation - short periods of cardinal rearrangement of professional consciousness, which are accompanied by changes in the vector of development. The result of the crisis is a certain metamorphosis of the individual, its rebirth, the adoption of a new content of life, new values, a new life strategy, a new image of "ME". The article describes the essence and main theoretical approaches to defining the "crisis" definition. The scientific ideas about the phenomenon of the crisis of professional formation and their influence on the process of professional self-realization of the personality have been analyzed. The description of the main directions of study of this phenomenon has been described. The purpose of the article is to analyze the present views of psychologists of the impact of professional development crises on the process of professional self-realization of the individual. The basic changes in personal development, which give the basis for self-realization, have been substantiated. Significant signs of a professional crisis have been determined; the factors of professional crises have been singled out. Crisis phenomena are often accompanied by a fuzzy awareness of the level of their professional competence. Sometimes, there are crisis phenomena at a higher level of professional competence than necessary for normative work. As a result, there is a state of professional apathy and passivity. The crisis calls for the restructuring of the psychological structure of the individual, the change of socio-professional orientation. Creating mental stress, crises stimulate the professional development of personality.
