The article analyzes the main basic concepts of the research problem: "fitness", "health fitness", "technologies of fitness", established a common and excellent, the connection between them. The main components of the application of fitness technologies on the lessons of physical education of students have been revealed. It has been established that the design of the process of using fitness technologies in physical education classes in the system of physical education is related to their content, professional competence of teachers, individualization of education, training activities of students, information environment. Different approaches to understanding the basic concepts used in the study of the use of fitness technologies in the classes on the physical education of students in higher pedagogical educational institutions have necessitated clarification of the essence of some of them, namely: "fitness" is the direction of mass, sport and physical wellness, aimed at improving the general condition of students, their training and ability to rely on negative influences of the environment by performing simple and complex exercises in musicals It is accompanied by a certain tact, which helps to correct mass and body shape and allows to fix the obtained results; "health fitness" is a degree of balance of physical, mental and social conditions that have the necessary reserves to ensure the current life without physical and mental stress in a state of harmony with the environment; "technologies of fitness" is a rational way of purposeful interaction of participants in the pedagogical process, which is based on varieties of motor activity aimed at obtaining the maximum possible health effect, realization of students' needs in health and careful attitude towards it through conscious regulation of physical activity. Technologies of fitness is a system of constructive influence on the body of students by means of specially selected and dosed, predominantly gymnastic exercises, simulators that provide solutions to important health problems. They allow to reflect the biological (motor activity, physical fitness, physical fitness), mental (motives, interests), social (healthy lifestyle) needs of students for physical education classes. In this sense, technologies of fitness is a multi-vector concept, such as it covers terms that characterize a physical fitness (mass sports, conditioned training, recreation).
