Abstract

The purpose of the study was to analyse and determine the effect that motivation had on the performance of employees in Nekemte Hospital, Eastern zone of Oromia regional state, Ethiopia. The study was concerned with matters linked to Satisfaction like delivery of promotion, progression of carrier, work load, employees working hours and also the appreciation from the managers and similar aspects revolving around same topics. Subsequently, the method of collecting data involved utilizing Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS), preparing questionnaires for the respondents of the Hospital and picked up the info meticulously in organized and presented it using statically tools where the qualitative data analysis technique was employed for the analysis. Discussion and conclusion of the research study was done from the analysis and summery parts of the research. As a result, the findings indicated that the satisfaction packages that was delivered to the workers of the Nekemte Hospital was somewhat but those delivered by other Hospital and it may be possible to conclude that the new entrants employees and people who were working within the organization would favour to use in other Zonal Hospitals nearby.
