Hungarian Turan Association

In 1910, a group of leading hungarian academics, prominent politicians and elite founded an association called the Turáni Társaság (Turan Society) to search links between Ural-Altaic peoples and Hungarians. The activities of this Association between 1910 and 1917 are discussed in this article.
