Abstract

The work continues to consider approaches to the justification of fire gap reducing between objects of different functional purposes and is a continuation of publications [1–4]. There is carried out the evaluation of the temperature in a room (fire compartment) at fire at the mode controlled by ventilation, as the maximum temperature value is reached. Fire in a room on the first floor of a three-storey kindergarten building is analized. There are considered two limiting cases of heat exchange with room walls: isothermal and adiabatic. The calculation is carried out for the characteristic parameters of residential and administrative buildings (where fire occurs). The solution of the system of 7 transcendental equations was carried out by Seidel method for two limiting cases: adiabatic and isothermal. The temperature values were close (the difference was ≈ 0.5 %).
