Abstract

The article is devoted to the problems of using unmanned aircraft systems to extinguish fires in high-rise buildings with continuous supply of compression foam to the fire source. On the one hand, the use of compression foam with a continuous flow from ground source by unmanned aircraft is considered as one of the most promising ways of fighting fires in high-rise buildings. On the other hand the relevance of the article is due to the fact of insufficient study of aforesaid issue. The article presents the results of research on the subject, implemented by the Ministry of emergency situations of the Republic of Belarus and EMERCOM of Russia. There were proposed some directions for further experimental investigations as well as the requirements for fire drones.
