Abstract

Few empirical studies have incorporated information technology input, market orientation, and business strategy into green innovation to explore their effects on business performance. In this study, a questionnaire is developed based on literature review to explore the correlation between business strategy, information technology input, market orientation, green innovation, and business performance of high-tech firms. According to the results, high green innovation implementation has significantly positive effects on business performance, high information technology input and high level of market orientation have significantly positive effects on green innovation implementation, and different business strategies have significantly different effects on green innovation implementation. Therefore, high-tech firms can improve green innovation implementation by increasing information technology input, introducing market orientation, and adopting differentiation strategies, so as to achieve the goal of improving business performance.
