ROLE-PLAYING GAME AS A MODERN TECHNOLOGY OF MASTERING A FOREIGN LANGUAGE IN A MILITARY INSTITUTION OF HIGHER EDUCATION

The features of the use of role-playing games as a modern technology for mastering a foreign language in a military institution of higher education were considered. The author came to the conclusion that role-playing ensures the maintenance of a lively interest in learning, encourages creativity, and this is the main prerequisite for the effectiveness of the educational process. It is the game that provokes the craving for knowledge, forms the ability to comprehend the educational material in a mobile way, analyze it qualitatively, think logically, sets up the student (cadet) for positive dynamics.
