Abstract

Mastering a second language at the level of professional communication is primarily based on phonetic and phonological features of both Ukrainian and English languages, as a sound for language learning is the basis for communication. The relevance of the study is enhanced by the penetration of the terminology system, and financial and economic in particular, English vocabulary, which requires phonetic adaptation to the Ukrainian language system. To find out the essence of bilingualism as a linguistic, sociolinguistic phenomenon and a means of mastering two languages, to trace the relationship of bilingual learning with interference, diglossia; to prove that in the system of coordinating bilingual education a significant role is played by the comparison and analysis of the phonological system of languages that the speaker masters; to analyze vocal and consonant phonemes / sounds of Ukrainian and English languages, to trace the features of suprasegmental language phenomena (syllable, stress).
