Since ancient times the relationship between individuals and power has been a subject of research by many different disciplines. With the development of technology, individual-power communication has begun to be examined at some conceptual foci such as surveillance, hegemony, voluntary servitude and consent. These concepts have started to be discussed more due to the increase in digitalization after the Coronavirus pandemia. Based on Michel Foucault's analysis of power and surveillance, this study, which discusses the relationship between the individual and the power in the post-coronavirus layout, aims to examine the consequences of increased surveillance with the increase in the use of digital technologies by individuals in the Coronavirus process, which started in China in 2019 and turned into a global epidemic. As a literature review study, this article questions whether the increasing digitalization in the coronavirus process increases surveillance in general, whether individuals give voluntary consent to surveillance due to the pandemic process, whether the problems experienced during the pandemic period are limited only to the health system or also affect other areas of social life are discussed in-depth in the context of surveillance and digitalization. The study puts forward that the individuals in the risk society, who see security as their basic need, voluntarily give consent to the increased surveillance of the power. In addition, the study emphasizes that the coronavirus not only has health consequences but Also gives way to important political and social Consequences.
