Abstract

The article describes the problem of orphanhood and secondary orphanhood. The substantiation of the socio-pedagogical approach as a methodological basis for the development and implementation of the process of prevention of secondary returns of orphans and children left without parental care from substitute families is presented. The key ideas are the definition of parents' refusal to raise a child in the family as a form of deviant behavior and preventive work by blood and substitute families in line with the pedagogization of the social envi- ronment. In addition, it is important to organize educational information campaigns aimed at improving the so- cial status of the substitute family
