Abstract

The research analyses the models of involvement of parents of 2nd grade students in the process of children's education, creative activities based on cooperation between parents and children. The peculiarities of the development of a child aged 7-11, the significance of independence and relationship with parents in the learning process are reviewed, and the impact of parents' involvement in distance and contact learning on children is discussed. The above-mentioned issues are examined on the basis of scientific and methodological literature, the data of the survey of parents of second-graders conducted in spring 2021, and a simultaneous study of creative activity, which provided a better understanding of the child's involvement in learning and satisfaction. The analysis of the results of the research revealed that: the parents' opinion about the involvement in the child's educational process is generally positive (they see a lot of meaning and possibilities in it); the joy of learning and enjoyment of the process experienced by a child is determined by many different factors: the child's personal abilities, the level of independence and self-confidence, the degree and relationship between the child and the parents; excessive involvement of parents in creative activities has a negative impact on the child's attitude towards themselves, the learning process and the end result.
