Blockchain technology is strongly making its presence in almost every field now. This technology has evolved like anything over the past few years. Realising the importance, many researchers have conducted studies on this technology. Through this study we will review the various academic researches retrieved from top cited articles on Blockchain and to see the footprint this technology is leaving practically everywhere. Every technology has some limitations. This study explore the challenges are being faced by Blockchain technology.
