UNDERSTANDING THE FACTORS INFLUENCING THE ENTREPRENEURIAL LEARNING OUTCOMES IN FAMILY BUSINESS SUCCESSORS

Indian family businesses have a long history and play an essential role in the economic progress and development of the country. Succession is a part of the process in the family business, and the model of succession focus on personal grooming and potential successor development. The current research is aimed to understand the influence of an individual's career choice, leadership capabilities and impact of family members on their entrepreneurial learning. The study was designed quantitatively, and data was collected using a survey questionnaire technique from university undergraduates enrolled in entrepreneurship courses. The results highlight the positive impact of leadership capabilities, family influence and career choice on entrepreneurial learning.
