APPLICATIONS OF POWER ELECTRONIC SYSTEMS ON WIND ENERGY MODELS

This article analyses wind energy electronic applications. Different wind turbine systems are defined and different technological features compared with different electronic turbines and converters. There are a summary of the electrical topologies of wind farms and various wind turbines and future applications of wind farms' power electronic converters. Finally, it discusses alternative ways to use power electronic technologies to improve the efficiency of wind turbines in power systems to fulfill the major grid link requirements. c
