Abstract

OBE is a student-centered instruction paradigm that emphasises judging student success dependent on results. Awareness, abilities, and actions are examples of outcomes. The outcome-based education paradigm is rapidly gaining traction in technical institutions around the world. It is regarded as a giant step forward in reviving engineering education and assisting Engineers in competing with their global peers. OBE places a greater emphasis on what students would be willing to ‘do' rather than what they would ‘know.' As a result, developing an instructional model to promote student understanding, ability, and behaviour is critical. The micro-level dimension and part of the course result that will allow the student to develop trust in ‘doing' rather than ‘knowing' is the knowledge framework. By establishing an information framework in Power Electronics Engineering, this paper suggests an Instructional Model. The cumulative correlation values and the standard deviation values of Power Electronics Course Achievement were calculated based on the validity and reliability of the Power Electronics Course Achievement Test. Furthermore, the KR20 coefficient was discovered to be 0.844. There was no substantial gap in overall scores between daytime and evening education students prior to the implementation of the "Power Electronics Course Achievement Test." Students who obtained Web-Based and Web-Aided Education were assigned to the experimental community, while students who received "Traditional Education" were assigned to the control group. Following the application, substantial variations in overall grade points were seen between the experimental and control groups of daytime and evening education students. Additionally, the component is used to produce digital signals for STATCOM closed-loop control and PSCAD reactive power compensation. This add-on will help students gain a greater understanding of the space vector modulation SVPWM algorithm for various control tasks in the field of power electronics, as well as inspire them to study
