Abstract

Introduction. The success of a physical education teacher depends on the level of his professionalism, acquired testing and improvement in the process of pedagogical practice and practical experience. Professionalism in any field determines the motivation that creates a person's desire to engage in certain professional activities (depending on the purpose and technology, tools and methods used to implement it). Studying in an educational institution gives the future teacher the opportunity to achieve a certain level of professional training; and the higher this level, the greater the probability of success in the formation of professionalism, if a person becomes a professional in the process of professional activity. On the basis of constructive analysis and generalization of theoretical and empirical studies it has been established that the conceptual prerequisites for training of highly qualified physical education teachers is a combination of educational, sports and study activities of students, each of which is necessary to ensure proper mastery of knowledge and skills in sport and pedagogical improvement. Purpose. Systematic analysis of professional activity of a physical education teacher. Methods. To obtain the most significant study results and their interpretation, the following methods were used: theoretical analysis and synthesis, systematization, generalization of information presented in scientific sources of information. Results. Professional training of future physical education teachers is considered as an activity aimed at preparing students of higher education institutions to perform specific types of professional activities, mastering a complex of knowledge about person and physical culture, developing emotional and value relations, moral norms, and abilities to transmit values of physical culture. Originality. The scientific novelty of the study lies in the systematic analysis of the professional activity of a physical education teacher and its components. Conclusion. It is determined that the main prerequisite for successful pedagogical activity of a physical education teacher is the presence of pedagogical abilities, in particular: perceptual, constructive, didactic, expressive, academic, organizational, communicative.
