Abstract

Introduction. The article analyzes the fact that in the process of learning a person not only acquires a variety of knowledge, skills and skills, but also must be given the opportunity for self- realization, that is, to show their creative abilities. Therefore, there is a need to look for new educational technologies that contribute to managing the development and self-development of students' creative potential, as well as increased attention to the development of students as creative personalities during their studies at school. In this regard, in the modern world the problem of organizing active cognitive activity of students, which contributes to the accumulation of their creative experience. Misunderstanding by teachers the terms «project activity» and «project» leads to the same misunderstanding of these terms by students. Meanwhile, the problem of involving students in project activity from the first steps in today's elementary school is extremely urgent. However, in the pedagogical and methodical literature we have not revealed the study of the peculiarities, conditions and methods of organizing project-research activities of elementary students, which ensure the development and realization of their creative potential, especially in the study of subjects of the natural cycle, in particular the subject «I am exploring the world». All of the above defined the purpose of the article: to identify methodological conditions for the development of students' creative potential based on the use of project research activities in teaching. Methods. Psychological and educational literature analysis, analogy, induction and deduction.
