Building and developing the system of tourism training in the Russian Federation: regional aspect

The paper describes the process of formation and development of the Russian system of tourism training. Special attention is paid to identifying and studying the formation of vocational tourism education in the Udmurt Republic. The authors use archive sources to review the organizational structure of tourism and explore the forms and methods of tourism training starting from the second half of the 19th century to the present time.
