The Need for Reform of the United Nations

The United Nations UN was established 75 years ago, with the main objective of maintaining world peace and security. It has been successful in preventing the disintegration process of countries and another world war. However, the world of the 21st century is very different from that of the 20th century and is facing many new problems and realities. Current human and economic losses associated with the COVID 19 pandemic have been compared to major wars, and unemployment is worse than at any time since the Great Depression of 1929.
