On the issue of bringing a person in custody as an accused

This article highlights the main problems that employees of the investigating authorities often face at the time of bringing charges against a person in respect of whom a measure of restraint in the form of detention has been chosen. A possible solution to these problems is proposed by amending the current legislation, namely Article 172 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of the Russian Federation.
