Abstract

Introduction. One of the optimal ways to meet the needs of comprehensively trained specialists, both graduates of a higher educational institution and customers, is the application of a competency-based approach to their training in professional disciplines in higher education. The issue of improving the educational process through the use of a competency-based approach is actively discussed in higher education pedagogy Purpose. The article aims to analyze the issue of the development of professional competencies of a bachelor in electronics in pedagogical theory and practice. Methods. The basis of the article was general scientific principles of objectivity, concreteness, universal methods of theoretical knowledge in the form of analysis and synthesis, abstraction, comparison, and modeling. The structural-functional method is especially important among the general methods because the analysis of the professional skills of a bachelor in electronics is inseparable from the consideration of the structure of the educational system and its components. Philosophical methods, such as hermeneutic and dialectical methods, are also widely used in the work. Results. The development of the professional competence of future specialists in electronics makes it necessary to modernize the system of training future bachelors in electronics based on the introduction of new approaches and modern technologies into the educational space of higher education institutions. The study and analysis of the educational and professional program show that in the process of professional activity of specialists in this field, production functions are allocated, and the implementation of each of them involves solving a certain range of activity tasks. Future bachelors in educational institutions acquire skills that will allow them to implement their professional activities using the latest technologies in their future professional activities. Originality. The novelty of the chosen topic of the scientific article lies in the absence of thorough works that highlight various aspects of the specified problem, which led to the lack of formation of a holistic understanding of the outlined problem both in a general theoretical and in a specific practical context. The dynamics of modern social processes require a more detailed analysis of the formation of professional competence of a bachelor in electronics in changing market conditions. Conclusion. The formation of a system of values and interests, the effective development of individual abilities, and the development of professional abilities to solve non-standard professional situations play an important role in the formation of the professional competence of a bachelor in electronics. The problem of training future bachelors, which is carried out primarily in modern conditions, is becoming quite important. During this period, the professional development and personal development of the individual are enriched by practical experience, values, and needs for professional self-realization and self-improvement are formed. All this requires serious attention to the formation of the professional competence of future bachelors, the formation of relevant professional skills and qualities in them, which will allow them to carry out professional activities in a high-quality manner.
